London South Bank University - Earlier the better

Students who apply to university earlier in the year make better choices when it comes to institutions and courses, according to research by London South Bank University. Of 502 students who applied through the 2007-08 clearing process, 56 per cent believed they would have made a different decision if they had applied earlier in the year, or would have felt more confident about starting university. Of those students, 17 per cent said they would have made a more considered choice and 14 per cent said they would have gone to a different university altogether.
