London South Bank University - All together now

Social science researchers at a London university are being brought under one roof. The Institute for Social Science Research brings together London South Bank University's Centre for Media and Culture Research, its Centre for Research in Psychology, its Centre for Research in Education and the Weeks Centre for Social and Policy Research. The launch of the institute was marked with a lecture by Jeffrey Weeks, a historian and sociologist specialising in work on sexuality and an emeritus professor at LSBU. Ian Albery, director of the new institute, said: "With this new institute we are confident that LSBU will continue to be at the cutting edge of research in social sciences."
