The trustees of the Lloyd’s Tercentenary Foundation are inviting applications for a limited number of two-year Lloyd’s fellowships to be awarded in the following categories:
(a) Engineering;
(b) Medicine and health-care;
(c) Safety and environmental studies;
(d) Science & technology.
The fellowships are tenable from October 2002. Applications are sought from candidates intending to pursue research at institutions in the United Kingdom; applicants must hold a PhD or MD qualification awarded within the past four years, and Fellowships are not open to candidates holding academic posts at universities, or equivalent positions at other research establishments. Only in exceptional circumstances will applicants be considered from candidates who are over 30 years of age.
