Living history

十月 16, 1998

(Photograph) - Aberdeen University served up a taste of the past during its history department's "living history day" on war and rebellion in Scotland. Historical re-enactment groups, the Sealed Knot Society and the White Cockade Society, gave an insight into life in an 18th-century military camp. The living history day commemorated the centenary of Professor C. Sanford Terry delivering the first lecture in history at Aberdeen.
