Liverpool Hope University - Turner talk

十二月 31, 2009

A Turner prizewinner is to give the first in a series of lectures designed to develop a partnership between Liverpool Hope University and Tate Liverpool. Birkenhead-born Mark Leckey, who won the Turner Prize in 2008 for his work combining sculpture and film, will speak about the influence that growing up in Merseyside has had on his work. The talk will be held at Liverpool Hope's Cornerstone Campus in the city centre on 14 January. Alan Whittaker, head of visual arts at Liverpool Hope, said the lecture was "another example of the increasingly close collaboration between the university and the Tate".
