London students are being urged to vote for MPs who support their interests - and to use their collective muscle against the rest.
A new guide published by the University of London Union lists the capital's MPs and their position on higher education issues, including how they voted on the Teaching and Higher Education Bill, and any relevant statements they have made.
It also lists the members who supported Early Day Motions calling for reform of student finance.
These include Oona King, the Labour MP for Bethnal Green and Bow; Tom Brake, Lib Dem MP for Carshalton and Wallington; Stephen Pound, Labour, of Ealing North; Clive Efford, Labour, of Eltham; and Rudi Vis, Labour, of Finchley and Golders Green.
Scott Rice, ULU president, said students should find out whether their MP is responsive to higher education issues.
"We are trying to make sure that students use their democratic right to vote," he said.
"Students should be voting for people who are supportive of student issues, such as people who have signed Early Day Motions," he added.
MPs in marginal seats with high student populations include leading Lib Dem Simon Hughes of North Southwark and Bermondsey and Tory stalwart Iain Duncan Smith of Chingford and Woodford .
