Imperial awaits sentence for GMO breach
Imperial College was today awaiting sentence after it admitted breaching health and safety legislation regulating the use of genetically modified organisms. At an earlier hearing at Marylebone Magistrates Court, Imperial pleaded guilty to two charges relating to the creation of a hybrid virus.
