Disability bill cost vastly underestimated 
It could cost universities £250 million to comply with proposed disability and special educational needs legislation. Baroness Warwick, chief executive of Universities UK told the House of Lords that the bill, announced in the Queen’s Speech, could cost five times the £56 million quoted.

Chelsea wins Millbank site
Chelsea College of Art has had its bid accepted for the former Royal Army Medical College site on Millbank next to Tate Britain. The Ministry of Defence, owners of the site, said that two bids had been shortlisted, the other being from the Aga Khan to build an Islamic cultural centre.
