The first academic qualification in knowledge transfer is due to start next month.
The postgraduate certificate will be awarded by the Open University in collaboration with the Association of University Research and Industry Links. The Department of Trade and Industry provided £490,000 to deliver a programme of training activities for university staff engaged in developing and supporting business partnerships.
Applicants should be working in a knowledge transfer environment where they are able to undertake a work-based project. The course costs £2,500.
