一月 12, 2001

Anti-Napster software that will allow the music industry to combat the threat of free web downloads has been developed at King's College London.

A company, Insonify Ltd, has been set up to market and license the technology. King's is a major partner in the venture, which has attracted substantial seed funding from the United States.

The development consists of a patented audio streaming system called Zerochain, which provides a pay-per-stream facility.
