King's College London - Collective action

十月 15, 2009

An extinct marsupial known as the Tasmanian wolf, a lizard with a light-sensing "third eye" and the stem of a tree fern are among the star exhibits in a new museum. The Museum of Life Sciences at King's College London showcases more than 2,500 plant and animal specimens collected over the decades by the institutions that now make up the college. It is the first time they have been displayed together. The collection includes skeletal material, specimens preserved in spirit, models, slides and a herbarium of plant matter. It is located in what was part of the Wills Library in the Guy's Campus' Hodgkin Building.
