Sea turtles swim hundreds of miles to feed at exactly the same sites after laying their eggs, a research team led by Annette Broderick of Exeter University's School of Biosciences has discovered. The research, funded by the Natural Environment Research Council and published in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences , shows for the first time that marine turtles appear to be as loyal to specific foraging sites and migratory routes as they are to nesting sites.
