It's cheers all round

Congratulations to, and first-class pampering for, Bristol University students Sarah, Lauren and Heather, who made it all the way to the south of France in the institution's recent charity jailbreak. The women, who joined more than a hundred students taking part last weekend, made it more than 600 miles to Orange, near Avignon, in 36 hours by hitching. Congratulations and a bunk in steerage to Ben and Mike who made it 50-odd miles to Mike's dad's house in Swansea, where they watched TV and went for a few beers.
