IRMM: Evaluation of rapid scrapie tests

Geel (B): In the frame of the Action on Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy (TSE) and pathogens IRMM finalised the preparation of more than 24000 tissue samples for the evaluation of rapid scrapie tests. The evaluation will start in December 2003 and will lead to the formal approval of rapid scrapie tests for monitoring of scrapie in the EU according to Regulation (EC) 1999/2001.
