An international conference on public outreach in astrophysics and science education 'Global hands-on universe 2002' will take place in Paris on 24 to 29 July.
The event will bring together researchers and teachers and will provide an overview of ongoing 'hands-on universe' activities, including projects linked to ongoing research and the automatic telescope network. The event will also hold practical sessions on computers.
