Indian sorcerers find a degree of magic

An Indian university is taking a leaf out of Hogwarts' book and offering a masters degree in magic. The qualification at Visva-Bharati University in eastern India is being set up by Indian magician P. C. Sorcar Jr, famous for making the Taj Mahal appear to vanish. He plans to bring in street magicians to teach the students tricks. His next major illusion will be cycling across Dal Lake in Kashmir. He hopes the trick will be good for tourism in the state, which has been racked by separatist violence.
