The Commission's Information Society DG has published a call for tenders in two lots aimed at providing a measurement framework and a better understanding of the barriers to e-government in Europe.
The call is divided into two lots:
- Lot A: economics, benefits and financing of eGovernment: This tender aims to provide insight into the expenditures made for e-government in the EU and to support the process towards a measurement framework for e-government, in particular as regards take-up and impact of e-government, as well as provide insight into the underpinning economics of e-government;
- Lot B: identification of remaining legal, regulatory and organisational barriers to e-government provision. This tender aims to support progress towards a better understanding of legal, regulatory and organisational barriers in e-government and possible ways to overcome those in Europe.
The total budget for the two lots is 750,000 euro.
