The Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP), of which the European Union is a member, is calling for research proposals in the field of complex mechanisms of living organisms. The programme supports international collaborations in basic research, with an emphasis on innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to the life sciences.
Research grants provide support for three years to teams of two to four researchers, who must come from different countries unless the interdisciplinary nature of the project makes this impossible.
