Sheffield University's newsletter is highlighting a German pub evening, which it explains is intended for anyone interested in the German language or culture, and who wants to exchange ideas, new information or just to have a chat in German. But there is strangely no mention of what is surely the most obvious attraction of a German pub evening - the beer.
