The European Commission has published two synopses of projects funded under the Growth programme of the Fifth Framework programme.
The two publications, covering 'land transport and marine technologies' and 'measurements and testing and support for research infrastructures' include a description of each project's objective, the work plan, the expected results, the budget and the project partners.
The transport projects funded under the Growth programme cover themes such as gasoline engines, new fuel engines and propulsion, low weight structures, noise and vibration, power trains for railways, fluid dynamics tools, port interface concepts and remotely operated underwater vehicles.
The second publication lists projects under six headings: instrumentation, methodologies for measurements and testing, support for the development of certified reference materials, accompanying measures, CRAFT projects and support for research infrastructures.
