The Association of Accounting Technicians has launched a glossy magazine to prove the profession can be as exciting as any. A press release with the first edition of Improving Your Prospects offers the reassurance that "you do not need to be dull like the boring accountant in the Darling Buds of May ... or even have psychotic tendencies like the beancounter in Shallow Grave to consider a career as an accounting technician".
