This scheme provides a limited number of awards to senior academics, currently employed at British or Irish universities, for short-term visits to universities, research institutes, libraries and archives in Germany. The funds are intended for academics who wish to work on specific research projects and/or to visit German colleagues in order to discuss matters of mutual academic interest. Study visits may be from one to three months in duration.
