Geneva to host environmental chemistry meeting

The third European meeting on environmental chemistry will take place in Geneva, Switzerland from 11 to 14 December 2002.

Topics will include undisturbed ecosystems and anthropogenic impacts, pollution treatment, the development of new environmental tools and the teaching of environmental chemistry.

The ACE (Association of chemistry and the environment) Young researcher of the year award will be presented at the event, along with the ACE Environmental chemistry best poster award.

Invited speakers include Dr Claude Boutron of the University of Grenoble, France and Dr Bill Davison of the UK's University of Lancaster.
