Food and vegetable processing technology transfer event

A food and vegetable processing technology transfer afternoon will take place on 28 April in Murcia, Spain.

The purpose of the technology transfer event is to create a meeting point for technology requests and offers. It is hoped that the event will form new partnerships so as to establish technology transfer agreements.

The event is an initiative the CENEMES innovation relay centre (IRC) and is being organised by the Regional Development Agency of Murcia-Spain, in association with the Regional Technology Centre on canning and food industry and the agrofood thematic group of the IRC network.

The event is being organised in parallel with the international symposium on food technology, which takes place in the same location from 28 to 29 April. The symposium's main objective is to display the latest trends in food technologies and it will focus on the following topics:


- Artificial vision, automation, inspection and classification technologies;
- Enzymes;
- Aseptic packaging, handling and processing;
- Other food technologies related with the processing of vegetables.

Potential participants in the technology transfer event are companies from an agrofood industry background.

Those interested in participating are invited to submit a profile of their company along with a technology offer or request so that bilateral meetings can be set up prior to the event.
