FP6 ongoing Integrated Project PV-MIPS (Photovoltaic Module with Integrated Power Conversion and Interconnection System)

The aim of the project is to develop a low cost module technology with an integrated inverter that can feed solar electricity directly into the European grid. To reach this challenging objective, PV-MIPS integrates the knowledge of semiconductor experts, manufacturers of solar modules and power electronics.
