In accordance with Article 2, paragraph 6, of the Council's rules of procedure, the Presidency attaches for information the indicative provisional agendas for Council meetings prepared by the Permanent Representatives Committee (Part 1) for the period up to 31 December 2006.
The indication of "Political agreement" beneath co-decision files does not preclude efforts made by the Presidency to achieve first reading agreement with the European Parliament.
Co-decision files in second reading do not appear on the Council agendas.
In view of the decision by Coreper on 28 June 2006 (docs 10926/06 and 109/06) to implement as from 1 July 2006 the new measures on transparency, the Presidency will issue as soon as possible a revised list of provisional Council agendas indicating the items on which the Presidency intends to hold a public debate or a public deliberation.
