.... The JET joint undertaking terminated by expiry of its term on 31 December 1999 and has in accordance with Article 21 of its Statutes been wound up. The JET Council appointed on 1 January 2000 Anthony Raymond Houghton and John David Ariel of HLB Kidsons, Enterprise House, 83a Western Road, Hove, East Sussex, BN3 1LJ, as the liquidators for the purpose of conducting the proceedings in winding up the joint undertaking.

Earlier notices (2000/C 42/09 and 2001/C 102/13) on the winding up of the joint undertaking have been published on 15 February 2000 and on 31 March 2001.

The JET Council at its final meeting of 14 December 2001 decided:

- to instruct the liquidator to distribute the surplus funds among the Members existing at the time of the winding up in accordance with Article 21.6 of the JET statutes,

- to instruct the liquidator to report to the Chairman of the JET Council when that distribution has been completed,

- to discharge the liquidator and to dissolve the JET joint undertaking with effect from the completion of the distribution of surplus funds.

The Chairman of the JET Council has confirmed on 20 December 2001 that the final distribution of the surplus funds among the Members has been completed. The liquidators are therefore discharged and the joint undertaking in accordance with Article 21.6 of its Statutes is thereby dissolved.
