A workshop on 'Explaining Framework Seven' will be held on 24 October 2006 in Cambridge, UK. The workshop provides a structured overview of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). In addition to the European Commission's proposals, it will describe the European Technology Platforms and how they are influencing the technical scope of FP7. The workshop is intended to help delegates to understand the intricacies of the new programme. It is aimed at research managers and EU research funding advisors who are already familiar with FP6 and need a head start in understanding what is new in FP7.
