King's College London is seeking to fill 14 lecturer posts as the university continues its expansion in the public policy and education fields as well as in the creative industries.
A number of jobs ranging from lecturers in cultural and creative industries to chairs of education and lecturers in health and public policy were advertised in last week's Times Higher .
Sir Lawrence Freedman, vice-principal of research at King's, said: "The latest posts are due to the need to ensure that we have the strength in priority areas, including public policy and the creative and cultural industries.
"A parallel process is under way on the health side, where we are continuing to strengthen our position in a number of vital areas."
King's set up its School of Public Policy and Social Science in 2001.
Initially, recruitment focused on social sciences, with 60 new posts across the college filled last year. With a total social science staff of 336, the university is now expanding its public policy provision.
The school incorporates a diverse range of subjects including environment and society, education, warfare in the ancient world, international peace and security, business and health service management.
New masters degrees in public policy and risk management will be unveiled at the start of the next academic year.
