The £15M Foresight fund will support a third round of Foresight LINK Awards. Bids for awards for innovative, high quality, pre-competitive research projects in areas of commercial potential will have to address one or more of the following four key Foresight research priorities:
Nanotechnogy
Mobile Wireless Communication
Biomaterials
Sustainable Energy
Applications can be made by companies and universities, and other research base organisations, working in partnership. Large exciting bids, say seeking £2.5 - £3M, and with potential to make significant impact, are particularly encouraged. Awards funding of up to 50% of eligible project costs is available, with the balance being provided by the collaborating companies.
