The ESRC wishes to commission studies that gather structered information about attitudes and behaviours towards human, animal, plant and environmental genomics. It is intended that the surveys will include data that will permit analyses of a wide range of variables such as socio-economic status, health status, religious beliefs and previous experience with genetic disease. This information will provide a resource for future research, policy and practice.
