E-cards with a hidden message

八月 8, 2003

Bradford was the only university last year to text students with good luck wishes to relieve anxiety on results day. This year, it is offering free e-cards in a bid to attract potential students to its clearing site, writes Alison Utley.

The e-cards feature a range of greetings including "congratulations" and "good luck". And they have a hidden agenda, according to university web officer Claire Gibbons.

"They can be used to pass on course information to family or friends without seeming to be interfering," she suggested.

Bradford is also offering students at schools and colleges around the world an opportunity for one-to-one counselling or group advice through its video-conferencing system.
