Fourth Call for Proposals
The Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR) and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) invite proposals for innovative collaborative projects under the programme of research in Future Integrated Transport (FIT).
Within the FIT programme, funding is available in different streams:
Funding under the LINK scheme from all the sponsors for collaborative research projects linking industry and the science base;
Funding through EPSRC's standard research grants mechanisms for universities working with local authorities, charities, PTEs and other publicly funded bodies with a responsibility for delivering integrated transport.
All projects in these streams must be collaborative with appropriate contributions from both the research and the industrial/public body partners. Applicants should also demonstrate how the results would be used or applied in solving transport problems.
