Dental students have largest debt cavity

十一月 13, 1998

Dental students are Pounds 6,000 more in debt than the average student and nearly Pounds 2,000 more than medical students, according to a British Dental Association survey.

It shows nearly nine in ten dental students graduate from dental school with average debts of Pounds 9,500, making the total debt for this year's 832 graduates an estimated Pounds 6.9 million.

The association is calling for increases in student loans for dentists, who, it says, spend 50 per cent more time studying than the average student.
