Drama students at the University of Hull rehearse the play Not Yet. The play, written by Hull drama lecturer Sarah Jane Dickenson and performed by students at the university, has been chosen for an international project commemorating the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. It tells the story of a group of unmotivated British teenagers who are taught about the fall of the Wall by their German teacher. But their true learning begins only when they discover the barriers they have built around themselves and each other. The play is part of a Europe-wide drama project called After the Fall, a series of plays that will be performed across Europe. Not Yet is one of only two UK plays chosen to take part in the event. Following its initial run last week, it will be performed in schools throughout Yorkshire, accompanied by thematic workshops.
