Coventry/Surrey - Dance to the music of time

Dances past and present are to be preserved in a digital archive. Researchers at the universities of Coventry and Surrey have won funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council to create a free website that will feature videos of performances, photographs of costumes plus programmes and other memorabilia. The project aims to create "a unique profile for dance in the UK that will benefit artists, researchers and members of the general public".
