Suite of documents 9/04
This document is meant to be a " progress report" on the results obtained in pursuing the objectives proposed by the COST CSO President elect Prof. F. Fedi (doc. COST 244/04) taking into account the following main documents:
- The Declaration of the Representatives of the Governments of the COST Member States at the Ministerial Conference in Dubrovnik on May 2003 and the Memorandum of Understanding between COST and the ESF (doc. COST 252/03)
- The Report of the Assessment Panel appointed by the COST CSO
- The EC-ESF Contract
- The proposals of the European Commission concerning FP7.
The document will be updated on the basis of the contribution of the Rapporteurs and of the participants in the JAF meetings (docs. 261/1/04 REV 1, 264/1/04 REV 1) and edited by the CSO President with the help of the CSO Secretariat.
The main objectives proposed for the 2004-2007 period are the following:
1. To position COST in the ERA, stressing both the main characteristics of COST and the impact of the main results obtained.
The Representatives of the Governments of the COST Member States meeting at the COST Ministerial Conference in Dubrovnik on May 2003:
