Cambridge University is to send bailiffs to the home of history lecturer Gill Evans (below) to collect almost Pounds 10,000 of legal costs.

Dr Evans, who earns Pounds 29,000 a year, has represented herself against Cambridge in numerous court battles as part of her campaign to reform the university's procedures for promoting academic staff.
