City University London - Gulf Air training takes flight

Airline staff are being trained for the national airline of Bahrain at City University London. Gulf Air has launched a professional development programme in aviation management for all its staff, which will be delivered exclusively by City's School of Engineering and Mathematical Science's aviation unit. Steve Bond, who is leading the programme, said: "These qualifications aim to provide participants with the principles, procedures, tools, regulations and current best practice associated with the safe and economic management of airline operations." The first cohort of 50 employees began their training in March.
