十一月 8, 2002

* A chemical leak at Wolverhampton University led to the evacuation of 500 staff and students from its school of computing and information technology on Monday.

Eight people working in the school's block on Monday had to be treated for respiratory problems on site, and five were taken to hospital for checks but were later given the all clear.

The university said the cause of the leak, believed to involve chlorine, was being investigated by the fire service.
