Call for tenders - study on development and interoperability of electronic identification

The European Commission's Information Society DG has issued an open call for tenders for a study on 'the development and interoperability of electronic and biometric authentication and identification'.

The study should deliver an inventory of the existing deployment or plans to deploy electronic and biometric authentication and identification in the Member States. The study will analyse common features and discrepancies between the different systems at technical, application and legal levels in order to identify the interoperability issues and suggest ways to address them.
