Bucks wins its title

六月 29, 2007

Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College is to become a university after the Privy Council approved its application this week. BCUC is now consulting on a new name. It has been able to award its own taught degrees since 1995, and it had the quality of its courses and the standards of its degrees endorsed by the Quality Assurance Agency in 2001 and again in 2005. Ruth Farwell, BCUC's director, said: "We hope that the award of full university title will help us to attract a wide range of students for all the faculties by making our academic status clear."
