Shrink-wrapped cucumbers have inspired a series of seminars at Brunel University. The Cucumber Seminars will examine the challenges facing designers seeking to produce sustainable packaging. Laurel Miller, course leader, said: "We see the environmental challenge as something that can really be turned into an advantage, with the right knowledge." The workshops run until July 2010.
