Major Fellowships These grants, worth up to £120,000, will be held for a period of up to three years.
Fellowship Grants Worth up to £60,000, these grants will be held for periods of up to three years.
Project Grants Worth up to £10,000, these grants are intended to pump prime research, to complete an on-going project or to purchase apparatus.
MRCPath Grants Worth £2,500, these grants enable a research project to be carried out as part of the Membership requirements of the Royal College of Pathologists (UK).
Travel Grants Worth up to £1,500 these grants are for those resident in the UK and overseas and are usually awarded to individuals traveling to national / international conferences to give presentations / poster presentations.
Overseas Scholarships Worth up to £4,100 these scholarships are to enable workers from other countries the opportunity to work in UK departments for up to six months.
Programme Grant
Worth up to £500,000, and awarded once every five years, the BSAC Programme Grants are intended to support long-term programmes of work where the aim is to answer an interrelated set of questions.
