Birmingham City University - From strength to strength

An extra £3 million is to be invested in enhancing research at Birmingam City University. The funding, spread across three years, comes on top of an existing £10 million pledge being used to expand its research boundaries to include criminology, health and education. David Maguire, pro vice-chancellor for research, said: "These areas were selected because they reflect global, national and regional priorities, and also capitalise on our existing strengths."
