The Agricultural Bank of China has agreed to fund the development of Renmin University in Beijing over the next five years. It will provide the university with 500 million yuan (Pounds 41.6 million) to build a science park, develop online and high-technology courses, and renovate research facilities and accommodation. Financial services, including mortgages and educational loans for lecturers and students, will also be provided by the bank.
