• Adam Powell has been appointed to the new post of head of employability. He was formerly manager of artswork at the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in the creative industries, and now gains additional responsibility for the Careers Service in a move to develop and implement an integrated employability strategy across the institution.
• Alison Baud has been appointed as head of library and information services from the University of Bath.
