* Albin Kurti, one of the leaders of the Kosovar-Albanian Pristina University student union, was being held in the Liljan prison, according to ethnic Albanians expelled from Kosovo to Macedonia. Mr Kurti was one of the main activists in the demonstrations during 1997-98 to reclaim the university campus for Albanian-taught courses.
