A sizzling cover-up

六月 29, 2001

Evidence from the United States suggests we should be even more suspicious of management textbooks.

Publishers across the Pond are promoting a book called Married Lust . "Drawing on the results of a poll of 10,000 men and women about the most private aspects of their sex lives... Married Lust contains ten secrets to stimulating desire (that) are explored in depth with lots of real-life examples of keeping sizzle in the relationship."

The advertisement boasts that the text has a "reversible cover for discreet reading". So next time you spot a copy of Modern Tactics in Higher Education on the desk of a colleague, you will know what it is all about.
