Last week's Times Higher Awards were a merry occasion. And not just for the winners. One mischievous university, which shall remain nameless, ordered ten extra bottles of wine and charged them to the host publication. Apparently the guilty university claims that the fact that the monarch features in its title means that its staff don't need to carry cash or credit cards.
